While the level of citizens' satisfaction with the Government's COVID-19 crisis response strategy in many countries and regions around the world has declined sharply, in Vietnam, people are still very satisfied with the Government's preventive measures, leading to the highest level of satisfaction in the world.

On May 5, the Vietnam News Agency’s reporter in Europe citing the results of a survey conducted by the Latana Market Research Institute showing that the majority of people around the world are less and less satisfied with how their Governments prevent the COVID-19 pandemic. The survey was conducted from February 24 to April 14, involving more than 50,000 people in 53 countries and regions.
In terms of how Governments have responded to the COVID-19 pandemic, people around the world are divided, with an average of 58% of respondents rating their Governments responding well to the pandemic. In this list, Vietnam ranked at the top of the list when 96% of respondents expressed satisfaction with the prevention of the COVID-19 pandemic by the Government, followed by China with the satisfaction rate of 93%.
In general, the Asian countries have the highest average satisfaction rates (75%), followed by Europe (45%) and Latin America (42%). The rate of satisfaction of people with the Brazilian Government's response to the pandemic is at the lowest 19%. In Germany, this rate also fell sharply. While last spring, 71% of the respondents expressed satisfaction with the Government's prevention of the pandemic, this rate has dropped to 48% now.
The above study has been published by many German newspapers, which emphasize that the rate of citizen satisfaction with the Government's strategy in COVID-19 prevention is especially high in Vietnam, while the lowest is in Latin America and Europe./.
