On May 16th, more than 200 voters of Quang Ninh Industrial University in Dong Trieu district met with the provincial Association of Vietnamese students on the threshold of the election of 14th NA and People’s Council deputies at different levels.
They are all young voters who are joining the election for the first time.

The Quang Ninh Industrial University has four electoral teams with more than 3,800 voters. The university checked the list of voters, established electoral teams and boards for supporting the election, and posted the list.
The voters were given a brief outline of the election; the position and role of the NA and People’s Council at all levels; new points of the election in the 2016-2021 tenure; issues related to the election; and arising issues among young voters and students, especially policies encouraging studying and job solving.
They had chances to frankly share and show their aspirations to the provincial Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and the Association of Vietnamese students.
In particular, the program also organized exchanges for the voters to learn about contents related to the election, thus the rights and responsibility of citizens and voters during the election were clarified.
The program aims to widely and deeply popularize the significance and importance of the election to youth union members, and especially encourage young voters to actively participate and express their responsibility and awareness in casting their first vote./.
