The event was held to commemorate the 70th anniversary of Hanoi’s Liberation (October 10). With more than 400 original stamps and postal cards, the exhibition showcases President Ho Chi Minh's journey seeking the way to save the country and his monumental career. Particularly, the exhibition features stamps and postcards that highlight his affection for the capital, and Hanoi's determination to follow President Ho Chi Minh's teachings, striving to build a "peaceful, beautiful, and strong capital, both physically and spiritually."

The exhibition is divided into six sections, including the patriotic youth Nguyen Tat Thanh’s determination to find a way to liberate the nation; revolutionary activist Nguyen Ai Quoc’s participation in the international Communist and labor movements, founding the Communist Party, and directing Vietnam's revolutionary movement; President Ho Chi Minh’s founding of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam and leading the resistance and reconstruction efforts; President Ho Chi Minh’s leadership in building and defending the socialist North, fighting for the liberation of the South and national reunification; following the path of the great President Ho Chi Minh forever; the affection of the Vietnamese people and the world for President Ho Chi Minh, as well as Hanoi’s determination to adhere to his teachings to become a "peaceful, beautiful, and strong capital, both materially and spiritually."

Mr. Nguyen Dai Hung Loc, Vice President of the Ho Chi Minh City Stamp Association and the owner of the stamp collection on President Ho Chi Minh, shared that many of the stamps displayed at the exhibition were acquired through global stamp auctions.

The exhibition aims to reflect on the historical milestones of President Ho Chi Minh’s life, closely tied to the revolutionary movement for national liberation, the fight for independence, and the defense of Vietnam’s sovereignty and unity. It also celebrates efforts to bring prosperity and happiness to the people, contributing to the development of a prosperous and beautiful country, and building the “Ho Chi Minh Cultural Space.”
