Lixil Vietnam Co., Ltd. employs over 2,000 staff and workers. According to Dinh Quoc Toan, Chairman of the company's Trade Union, the company’s leadership and Trade Union have consistently ensured the full implementation of policies and taken care of both the material and spiritual well-being of its employees.

To facilitate the Trade Union's activities and meet the workers' desire for knowledge enhancement and improved spiritual life through activities such as reading, researching information online and cultural performances, the company's Trade Union requested the support of Hanoi Federation of Labour (HFL) and the Gia Lam District Federation of Labor to establish a Workers' Cultural Activity Point.

In response, the HFL provided VND90 million in funding to equip the cultural activity center with facilities such as TVs, sound systems, a reading room, materials, display cabinets and more. The company also provided the Trade Union with full access to the auditorium as a venue for cultural activities and the construction of a reading room.

Additionally, a Ho Chi Minh Cultural Space was inaugurated at the company, displaying many authentic and simple items, documents and images of President Ho Chi Minh. This space will allow staff and workers to read, research, and deepen their understanding of the life and revolutionary career of President Ho Chi Minh, providing them with motivation to study and follow his ideology, morality and style; and way of living.

Currently, Gia Lam District has established six Workers' Cultural Activity Points. These are not only places for cultural and sports exchanges to promote health and improve the spiritual life of workers, but also serve as venues for the Trade Union to organize activities to raise awareness and legal knowledge for workers.

Nguyen Duc The, Chairman of the Gia Lam District Federation of Labor, stated that alongside establishing Workers' Cultural Activity Points, the federation is encouraging organizations, units and businesses to build Ho Chi Minh Cultural Spaces to spread awareness and knowledge about President Ho Chi Minh’s life and revolutionary career. This effort aims to affirm the strength of Vietnamese culture and honor President Ho Chi Minh, the national hero and world cultural figure./.
