"Ho Chi Minh cultural space" established at Muwahindin Mosque

The Party Committee, People's Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Phuoc Long A ward in Thu Duc, Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC), has recently coordinated with Muwahindin Mosque to launch "Ho Chi Minh Cultural Space".

Up to now, Phuoc Long A ward has built nine "Ho Chi Minh cultural spaces", including two works at religious facilities of Phuoc Long Nunnery and Muwahindin Mosque. Accordingly, images and books about Uncle Ho are displayed to introduce to Muslims, including three topics: biography and process of Uncle Ho's revolutionary activities (in Vietnamese and Cham); Uncle Ho's image of ethnic and religious work; and Uncle Ho with young people, women, farmers, intellectuals and children. The place will contribute to bringing President Ho Chi Minh’s images, thoughts, morality, and style closer to the Muslim community’s life.

Speaking at the launching ceremony, Ms. Hoang Thi Minh Ngoc, HCMC Party Committee member and Deputy Head of the Thu Duc City Party Committee’s Department of Popularization and Education, acknowledged and highly appreciated the attention of the Party Committee - People's Committee - Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Phuoc Long A ward in communicating and mobilizing to build "Ho Chi Minh cultural space" in religious establishments in the area. At the same time, she emphasized that the building of "Ho Chi Minh cultural space" will contribute to spreading President Ho Chi Minh's thought, morality and style to all classes of people.

This is the 295th unit in Thu Duc city and the 9th unit among religious establishments to launch "Ho Chi Minh cultural space".

This space will contribute to promoting the studying and following of Ho Chi Minh's thought, morality and style among all officials, civil servants, party members, youth union members and people, especially the Muslim community.

On this occasion, religious establishments presented 11 million VND to support the Fund "For the Homeland's Seas and Islands - For the Front Line of the Fatherland" of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Phuoc Long A ward. The ward’s "For the Poor" Fund Campaign Committee presented 20 gifts to Cham ethnic households in difficult circumstances./.
