Over seven million entries submitted to contests on Vietnam People’s Army

An art exchange program "March of the Times" and award ceremony of the two national contests on the 80th anniversary of the Vietnam People's Army (VPA) and the 80th anniversary of the VPA’s General Department of Politics have been held at the Vietnam Military History Museum in Hanoi.

The event was organized by the General Department of Politics in coordination with the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Central Committee on December 6.
According to the organizing board, the two contests attracted a total of more than seven million entries from different social backgrounds, including armed forces, teachers, students, public servants and religious practitioners.
At the awards ceremony, the General Department of Politics presented two special prizes along with five A, 15 B, 35 C and 57 consolation prizes to the most outstanding entries of the contest on the 80th anniversary of the Vietnam People's Army.
Five A, 10 B, 25 C, and 40 consolation prizes were also awarded to the winners of the contest on the 80th anniversary of the General Department of Politics.
On the occasion, the General Department of Politics awarded certificates of merit to 80 outstanding youth union members who have made significant contributions to youth movements in the 2017-2024 period./.
