This is the 93rd pagoda of the Khmer people in the area.
At the announcement ceremony, Venerable Tang No, Standing Member of the Certification Council of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha, Head of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha of the province, and President of the Provincial Association of Patriotic Monks' Solidarity, awarded the decision of the Executive Board of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in Soc Trang province recognizing Ante Kosey Sirey Labach Pagoda as the base of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha to the Abbot of the pagoda. This is a great joy for local Khmer people before the Chol Chnam Thmay holiday which will take place in 4 days, from April 13 - 16.
Before being recognized and upgraded to a base of the Provincial Buddhist organization, Ante Kosey Sirey Labach Pagoda was a small-scale religious activity site for Khmer people. The pagoda was built according to Khmer cultural architecture, located on a campus of about 3,000 square meters. The pagoda's architectural complex includes different parts, featuring a main hall./.
