Speaking at the reception held on April 9, Major General Pham Hai Trung, Head of the Management Board of Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, Commander of the President Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum Protection Command, expressed his pleasure to welcome comrade Kalganov Vyacheslav Gennadievich to visit the unit and pay tribute to President Ho Chi Minh.
He said that after 55 years of preserving President Ho Chi Minh's body, the Management Board of Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum has welcomed and thoughtfully served about 70 million arrivals, including more than 10 million international visitors to pay tribute to President Ho Chi Minh.
President Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum has become a place of focus for the emotions and beliefs of the Vietnamese people as well as sentiments of international friends towards President Ho Chi Minh. That is the result of the traditional and friendly relationship between Vietnam - the Soviet Union in the past and Vietnam - the Russian Federation today; it is the sentiment and responsibility of Russian experts towards Vietnam and President Ho Chi Minh, he added and affirmed that generations of Vietnamese people are always grateful for impartial, pure, meaningful, and sincere sentiment and help of Russia.
In 2023, the delegation of the Management Board of Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum attended the inauguration ceremony of President Ho Chi Minh’s status right on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's first arrival in Petrograd. The delegation visited the Ho Chi Minh space and donated some documents about President Ho Chi Minh to High School No. 488.
The Head of the Management Board of Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum expressed his hope to continue further promoting cooperation between the management board and government of Saint Petersburg and Russian Federation as well, particularly in communications about President Ho Chi Minh.

Mr. Kalganov Vyacheslav Gennadievich shared the sentiments of the people of the Russian Federation and Saint Petersburg city towards President Ho Chi Minh and the people of Vietnam. On every major celebration of Vietnam, they are also held in Russia in general, and in the city of Saint Petersburg.
He expressed his hope that the Management Board of Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum along with Russian experts will continue to best complete the task of preserving President Ho Chi Minh's body, because this is not only meaningful for today's generation but also for the future.
Vice Chairman of the Committee for External Relations of Saint Petersburg City hopes that the Management Board of Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, the President Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum Protection Command and Saint Petersburg City will continue to meet and exchange to strengthen the friendly and cooperative relationship and mutual support.
In the same morning, Mr. Kalganov Vyacheslav Gennadievich respectfully offered incense to commemorate President Ho Chi Minh and visited the K9 relic area in Da Chong, Ba Vi district, Hanoi./.
