The ceremony aims to mark the 70th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu Victory (May 7, 1954 - May 7, 2024) and the 49th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and national unification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2024).
Over the past years, the Youth Union – Students’ Association of Trade Union University has always been united, regularly organized educational activities of politics, ideology and revolutionary traditions, morality and lifestyle for youth union members and students; effectively deployed activities to study and follow Ho Chi Minh's thought, morality and style; communicating major national holidays and the sacred sovereignty of the sea and islands of the nation.
Many creative activity models have been replicated such as organizing free English classes for children and participating in supporting important international events of the capital and the country.
With solidarity and constant creativity, the Youth Union – Students’ Association of the university is always an excellent unit every year, which is given emulation flags and certificates of merit of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Central Committee, Vietnam Student Association Central Committee, Hanoi Youth Union and Municipal Students’ Association.
Before the spirit of great President Ho Chi Minh, the delegates promised to continuously study and follow his thought, morality and style; strive harder and better perform the functions and tasks of the Youth Union, worthy of Uncle Ho's trust and expectations of the youth; build the image of students with culture, knowledge, health, aspiration, pioneering, solidarity and creativity, contributing to the development of the country.
After the ceremony, the delegation visited the K9 relic area, and organized the forum "Youth with the Party, the Party and the Youth" and the training program for key officials of the Students’ Association of the university in the 2023 - 2024 school year.
This is a meaningful and practical activity, creating motivation for officials, youth union members and members of the Students’ Association to continue promoting studying and following Ho Chi Minh's thought, morality and style, joining hands to effectively and successfully implement the set goals./.
