CEO of Siemens AG is chairman of German Economic Commission for Asia and the Pacific

(CPV) - Roland Busch, 56, CEO of Siemens AG, took over the leadership of the Asia-Pacific Committee of German Business (APA) from Siemens Energy AG Supervisory Board Chairman Joe Kaeser on October 13, 2021.

The new APA President Dr. Roland Busch highly appreciates the role of global cooperation in addressing the current challenges facing the development of the world economy.
Busch said countries need to unite in finding solutions to climate change, the COVID-19 pandemic and its economic consequences as well as other geopolitical issues. Every country in the Asia-Pacific region offers great opportunities for cooperation for the German economy.
As chairman of the APA, Busch hopes to promote and reinforce the economic cooperation between German and regional enterprises.
