This is an activity in the cooperation plan between the two Governments in 2020.

The Department of Cultural Heritage is assigned to prepare the working group's plan and cost estimate, and submit it to the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism's leader for consideration and approval; and preside over the implementation of the plan after it is approved.

According to the Lao government portal, Hin-nam-no is a large limestone complex in Khammuan province, about 150 km southeast of Thakhek city. With a total area of more than 82,000 ha, the Hin-nam-no Reserve is home to many species of plants and animals, including 40 species of mammals, more than 200 species of birds, 25 species of bats, 46 species of amphibians and reptiles, more than 100 species of fish and more than 520 species of plants. It also has great potential for natural tourism, with a beautiful system of limestone caves including Nangen, King, Heaven, Konglor and Xebangpha caves./.
