Da Nang brings Tuong arts closer to visitors

The Vietnamese traditional arts show titled “Vietnamese soul” with seven unique items contributes to preserving and promoting traditional arts as well as brings Tuong arts closer to domestic and foreign tourists.

The information was released at a press briefing on the show on July 16th in the central city of Da Nang.
Accordingly, the show will start at 19h45 on July 20th, 2019 at No.155 Phan Chau Trinh, Phuoc Ninh ward, Hai Chau district.
The following shows will begin at 19h45 on weekdays (Wednesday off) and 17h30 on Sunday. Tickets are sold at VND300,000 (15% discount for over 10 tickets booking).
The 60-minute program is expected to help the audience better understand the quintessential features of traditional Tuong arts in the former Quang Nam - Da Nang province, along with the bustling atmosphere of some festivals in the villages, in heroic pieces of music of Vietnamese national orchestra.
Nguyen Hien Dinh Tuong theatre was founded in 1967. So far, it is home of six people’s artists and 21 outstanding artists, preserving more than 100 Tuong plays and most outstanding excerpts of Vietnamese Tuong arts./.
