2017 Export Forum to be held in southern city

The 2017 Export Forum, themed “Recognizing market and managing risks in export”, will be held in Ho Chi Minh city on August 8th.

The event will be hosted by the Ho Chi Minh city People’s Committee and Ministry of Industry and Trade.

It will provide updated information about the export market and effective solutions to improve the competitive capacity of traders in major markets so as to help them evaluate, adjust and improve their management process and production to improve the quality of products; meeting technical requirements and trade barriers, and deeply and widely integrating into the global supply chain.

Participants will discuss the global and regional markets as the US leaves the Trans-Pacific Partnership agreement, and opportunities and challenges for Vietnamese enterprises with participation in the global supply chain.

As scheduled, the forum will attract about 400 representatives from ministries, branches and enterprises of Ho Chi Minh city and other localities. 

Apart from workshops, the event will set up a connection area between Vietnamese businesses and Indonesian, Malaysian, Korean and Japanese businesses./.
