During the visit, VKBIA presented 2,500 face masks, 504 bottles of hand wash and 20 cans of disinfectant liquid, and some packages of coffee, while KORCHAM provided some necessary equipment to Vietnamese and Korean people in isolation areas. 

Receiving the delegation, Vice Secretary of the Quang Ninh provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee stressed that the province had carried out drastic measures to fight Covid-19. 

According to Mr. Thang, Quang Ninh is isolating 2017 people, including 134 Korean citizens. “The province has been creating most favourable conditions for Vietnamese, Korean citizens, and those of other nationalities during their period of isolation,” he said, expressing his hope that VKBIA and KORCHAM will continue to work with the province in receiving, giving medical check-ups and isolating Vietnamese citizens coming home from the Republic of Korea and Korean experts to Vietnam through the Van Don Airport.
