Vietnam’s Dien Bien border guard high command on March 8th presented 10,000 face masks to Chinese border protection forces, in an attempt to prevent Covid-19.

Over the past time, to fight Covid-19, the Dien Bien border guard has regularly exchanged information with Chinese border protection forces, and coordinated to receive Vietnamese citizens returning home.
It has also worked strictly with Muong Nhe district to monitor those who come to Vietnam from infected areas.
Coordination with the local health sector has also been reinforced in dealing with cases at entries, increasing dissemination of Covid-19 information so that the public can understand the danger and protect themselves and the community from the disease./.
