At the reception, Chairwoman of the provincial People's Committee Nguyen Huong Giang presented the outstanding results and achievements of the provincial Party Committee and people of Bac Ninh province in 2019. Accordingly, the GRDP (Gross Regional Domestic Product) has increased. 1.1%; GRDP per capita reached 6,163 USD, ranking 2nd position nationwide; state budget revenue was estimated at VND 30,431 billion, up 8.4% compared to 2018. The new-styled rural area construction program continues to be promoted, with 93/94 communes, 7/8 districts reaching the new-styled rural area standard.

Regarding FDI attraction, the province now has more than 1,500 FDI projects from 34 countries and territories around the world with a total investment of about 19 billion USD. Along with economic development, the province also pays special attention to investing in the fields of education, healthcare, culture and society, especially environmental protection; preserving and promoting cultural values and revolutionary history.
The Chairwoman of the provincial People's Committee hoped that the Bac Ninh Fellow-Countrymen Association would continue to unite and promote the tradition of the native land, as well as actively introduce and promote the investment environment, cultural identity of Bac Ninh province to businesses, people communities in the Czech Republic, contributing to the cause of construction and development of Bac Ninh province to become rich and civilized.
On behalf of the delegation, Mr. Dang Dinh Thinh thanked the provincial leader for the warm welcome and congratulated Bac Ninh province on its achievements in recent years. The Chairman of the association also shared about operation situation of the Bac Ninh Fellow-Country Association in the Czech Republic.
Currently, there are more than 100,000 Vietnamese people living or studying in the Czech Republic, including 2,000 people from Bac Ninh province.
Founded May 6th, 2014, the Bac Ninh Fellow-Countrymen Association has attracted more than 500 members. The association always pays attention to educating the young generation to preserve the tradition, habits and customs of the homeland, especially with the establishment of Bac Ninh “quan ho” club in the Czech Republic.
In the coming time, the Bac Ninh Fellow-Countrymen Association will continue to be a bridge to introduce and promote the images and cultural identity of Bac Ninh to international friends./.
