The flight was arranged thanks to joint efforts by diplomatic agencies of Vietnam and Myanmar.

The citizens include children aged under 18, the elderly, the ill, pregnant women, stranded travelers, workers with expired visas and labour contracts, and students having completed study.

They all underwent heath check-ups and were put into concentrated quarantine area after landing at Da Nang International Airport.

On the flight to Myanmar, Vietjet Air also carried some Myanmar citizens back to their homeland.

In the coming days, more commercial flights will be arranged to bring back Vietnamese citizens home depending on the pandemic's developments, quarantine capacity of Vietnamese localities, and demand of Vietnamese citizens living overseas./.
