Previously, on May 15th-16th, Vietnamese authorities and representative agencies in Europe, including the Vietnamese Embassy in Switzerland, cooperated with national carrier Vietnam Airlines and host authorities to organize a special commercial flight VN08 (Frankfurt-Madrid-Da Nang) bringing nearly 200 Vietnamese citizens.

Based on overseas Vietnamese citizens’ aspirations, quarantine capacity in localities nationwide, and developments of the pandemic, the Ministries of Foreign Affairs, Transport, domestic authorities, Vietnamese representative agencies abroad and Vietnam’s airlines will continue to conduct special commercial flights to bring Vietnamese citizens stranded abroad back home, according to the Prime Minister's direction.

To create favorable conditions in supporting information and procedures for citizens in special circumstances and having aspirations to return home, the Vietnamese Embassy in Switzerland continues to receive registrations to return home via the following link: https://forms.gle/Udptg3jNnme77LGG8.

Citizens who have previously registered their aspiration but have not returned home need to re-register.

Vietnamese citizens on the priority list include the elderly, children under 18, tourists and businesspeople whose visas had expired, students having completed study, the ill and workers with expired visas and labor contracts.
