Detection and settlement of corruption cases inspected in Lang Son province

On August 24th, Tran Quoc Vuong, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee (PCC) and Head of the PCC Commission on Inspection, led a delegation to inspect the detection and settlement of corruption in the northern province of Lang Son.

According to Mr. Vuong, the inspection is the higher determination of the central steering committee on corruption prevention and fighting corruption, and aims to create a change in the awareness of agencies and their heads in the prevention, in order to realise the 12th National Party Congress resolution and make the Party purer and stronger.

As planned, the inspection, which will last until October 20th, will cover the work of the Standing Board of the provincial Party Committee; the provincial Party Committee Commission for Inspection; the provincial Inspectorate; the Standing Board of the provincial Public Security Party Committee; the provincial People’s Procuracy and Court, the provincial Customs Department, the provincial Taxation Department; the Lang Son city Party Committee; the Cao Loc, Loc Binh and Van Quang district Party Committees; the provincial Department of Natural Resources and Environment; the provincial Department of Finance; the provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Development; the provincial Department of Health, the provincial Department of Industry and Trade; the Market Management Department; and the management boards of border gates.

The inspection will focus on the leadership of Executive Boards of Party Committees over the detection and settlement of corruption cases, especially the prosecution, investigation and judgement of corruption and economic cases; and the revoking of properties in corruption and economic cases./.
