To mark the 70th Day for Wounded Soldiers and Martyrs (July 27th), Hanoi has given support worth VND402 billion to build and repair houses for 7,566 revolutionary contributors.

The information was announced during a press conference by the city Party Committee on May 16th.
According to Nguyen Quoc Khanh, Deputy Director of the city Department of Labor, War-Invalids and Social Affairs, each built house has received VND70 million and each repaired house has been provided with VND35 million in support.
According to reports, as of May 10th, the building and repairing of houses were completed for 4,825 families.
“The housing support will be completed before July 27th,” Mr. Khanh confirmed.
Together with housing support, Hanoi will also issue specific solutions to help poor and nearly-poor revolutionary contributors’ families have access to production loans and employment.
From now until July 27th, the city will visit and give presents and medical treatment to wounded soldiers and revolutionary contributors./.
