On April 7th, Forbes published its annual list of the richest people on the planet in 2020. In this year's world billionaire rankings, there are 4 Vietnamese businesspersons.

Here are four names who appeared on the billionaire list last year. Compared to the latest year, a Vietnamese businessman, President of Masan Group Nguyen Dang Quang is no longer in the billionaire group.

Topping the list of Vietnamese billionaires is Mr. Pham Nhat Vuong with assets worth USD5.6 billion. The Vingroup President ranked 286th on the list of the planet's richest people by Forbes.

The only female billionaire in Vietnam, Ms. Nguyen Thi Phuong Thao, owns assets worth USD2.1 billion. Ms. Thao ranked 1,001st on the Forbes list.

The assets of Mr. Tran Ba Duong and Mr. Ho Hung Anh are USD1.5 billion and USD1 billion, respectively, with the rankings of 1,415th and 1,190th, respectively.

The total assets of the four richest people in Vietnam are USD10.2 billion, down USD2.1 billion compared to the same period last year, due to a reduction in domestic stock market in March.

This year, the richest person on the planet continues to be Amazon owner Jeff Bezos with assets worth USD113 billion. He is also the only billionaire in the world currently owning assets of over USD100 billion./.
