Belarus press has reviewed the Vietnamese President Tran Dai Quang’s visit to the country from June 26th - 28th.
BelTA News Agency informed the Vietnamese President's visit to Belarus
On June 26th, the Belarusian Television Channel CTV reported “Vietnam President arrives in Belarus on official visit”.
On the same day, the BelTA News Agency also gave a report on the visit. The News Agency said, in the framework of the visit, that talks between the two leaders Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko and Vietnam President Tran Dai Quang will take place on June 27th. The parties will discuss the entire spectrum of bilateral cooperation. The development of trade and economic cooperation will be in the spotlight. After the talks of the two leaders, the two sides will sign a package of documents on the expansion of cooperation in various fields.
According to the BelTA, Alexander Lukashenko and Tran Dai Quang will also attend the opening of the Belarusian-Vietnamese business forum.
The BelarusFeed also had an article about the visit by President Tran Dai Quang: “The parties will discuss a wide range of issues of bilateral cooperation, with special emphasis on the development of trade and economic cooperation”, the article reads.
The News Agency affirmed that Vietnam is one of the Belarus’s trade partners in the Asia. According to the National Statistics Committee, trade turnover between Belarus and Vietnam in 2016 amounted to USD121 million, exports reaching USD76.8 million.
Belarus exports potash fertilizer, freight and quarry dump trucks, tires, tractors, metal and food products to Vietnam./.
