Bac Ninh regional construction scheme approved

According to Decision 1369/QĐ-TTg dated October 17th, 2018, the regional construction scheme is linked with the construction planning of Hanoi; forming a pole of the Hanoi - Bac Ninh - Vinh Phuc growth triangle; and becoming a civilized and modern urban area around the capital and the Asia-Pacific.

The location and scope of the scheme includes the entire administrative boundaries of Bac Ninh, with a natural area of about 822.71 km2 and a population of more than 1.31 million.  

The orientation for the development of the urban system until 2035 includes 7 urban areas: the center of Bac Ninh, Thuan Thanh, Gia Binh in Gia Binh district, Thua in Luong Tai district, Nhan Thang in Gia Binh district, Trung Kenh in Luong Tai district, and Cao Duc in Gia Binh district.

As planned, Bac Ninh will become a center of tourism culture of the Red River Delta and the whole country, with the priority given to developing high quality services such as education-training, researching and applying science-technology; health and relaxation, and commerce./.
