The Bac Ninh – Hanoi Culture and Tourism Week and the 6th Quan Ho Folk Singing Festival in the province in 2020 will be rescheduled due to complex developments of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19).

The Bac Ninh – Hanoi Culture and Tourism Week is initially slate from February 28th to March 8th, 2020 in Bac Ninh city and Hanoi capital.
According to the initial schedule, the week will be organized by Bac Ninh province in coordination with Hanoi. Diverse activities such as the art performance at the opening ceremony entitled “Coming back to Quan Ho land”; the International Women's Volleyball Tournament - LienVietPostBank Cup 2020 (or Kinh Bac Women's Volleyball Tournament); the Exhibition "Bac Ninh with Ly Dynasty" at the Provincial Museum; the Book display and the show of Dong Ngu Water Puppet at the Provincial Library; the fine art exhibition, artwork, architecture with the theme " Bac Ninh imprint" in the area of Ly Thai To Monument and Nguyen Phi Y Lan Park; Bac Ninh Tourism - Food Fair at Kinh Bac Cultural Center will take place in Bac Ninh province.
In Hanoi, the art program "Spirit of Thang Long"; The exhibition activities including "Bac Ninh - A destination for cultural and spiritual tourism, festivals, food and traditional craft villages"; Dong Ho Folk Painting Exhibition; The Dong Ngu Water Puppet Performance will be held in the area of Ly Thai To Monument, Hoan Kiem district.
The northern Bac Giang provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism has send a document to district-level People’s Committee and Bac Giang provincial Quan Ho Culture Club to stop organizing the 6th Quan Ho Folk Singing Festival in the province in 2020.
The festival is an opportunity for the villages, artisans and lovers for Quan Ho folk songs to exchange, contributing to promoting and preserving the cultural heritage association with tourism promotion.
As scheduled, the event will take place on March 11th (the 18th day of the second lunar month) at Bo Da Pagoda Festival in Tien Son commune, Viet Yen district.
The two events will be held at a suitable time./
