Standing Deputy PM Truong Hoa Binh speaking at the meeting
The Government office has just announced the conclusion of Standing Deputy Prime Minister (PM) Truong Hoa Binh at a meeting with leaders of Bac Ninh.
The northern province has proactively carried out appropriate solutions and ways to remove difficulties; promote production and business, import and export; and facilitate local people and businesses to access capital, credit, finance, tax, commerce and online payment.
Disbursement of public investment reached 68%; helping Bac Ninh among the localities with the highest disbursement rate.
However, Bac Ninh still has shortcomings that need to be overcome soon. Socio-economic infrastructure has not met the province’s rapid development requirements and environmental pollution in craft villages and the river and canal system has not been improved. High-quality human resources are lacking and weak. Development and tourism and service is still slow and supporting industries are not adequate to tap the advantages of the locality.
The Deputy PM asked Bac Ninh to intensify three breakthroughs: renovation – creation – aspiration; promoting potentials and strengths; creating new driving force for sustainable development; speeding up progress of implementing infrastructure projects; and increasing the rate of urbanization to meet the development requirements and criteria of centrally-governed city associated with the relation with the capital, the northern key economic region and the country.
At the same time, the province was urged to boost information technology application in activities of state agencies; increase public services; build e-government, smart city towards digital government and digital economy with the aims of improving the quality of services for local people and businesses; and increase transparency and responsibility of management agencies to form a professional administrative background./.
