Bac Ninh cycling tournament attracts124 athletes

The tournament attracted 124 athletes from district units, Bac Ninh city Youth Union and affiliated youth unions, agencies, businesses, and bicycle clubs in Bac Ninh.

Athletes participating in the tournament are divided into 3 age groups with 3 races. The group from 16 to 18 years old starts from Ly Thuong Kiet Temple in Yen Phong district, to finish at Do Temple in Tu Son city. The group from 19 to 30 years old races from Do Temple to Nguyen Van Cu Monument in Bac Ninh city. And the group from 31 to 40 years old races from Nguyen Van Cu Monument to Ly Thuong Kiet Temple.

Secretary of the Bac Ninh provincial Youth Union Nguyen Duc Sam said the tournament is part of activities in response to the “Coming back to Quan Ho land – 2023” Festival. The event is expected to contribute to the implementation of the movement “All people practice their body following the great Uncle Ho's example” among young people, helping to maintain the sport of cycling, thereby orienting the development of this sport in association with the tourism development task of Bac Ninh.

In the end, the organizers awarded 3 First prizes, 3 Second prizes, 3 Third prizes and 21 Consolation prizes to athletes in all age groups./.
