Bac Ninh Fellow Countrymen Association in Czech Republic unite to support each other

The third congress of the Bac Ninh Fellow Countrymen Association in the Czech Republic was organized in Prague, the Czech Republic on July 2nd.

At the ceremony, Chairman of the Bac Ninh Fellow Countrymen Association Dang Dinh Thinh shared the outstanding socio-economic achievements of Bac Ninh province, as well as the typical activities of the association in the host country and in the homeland.
Over the past term, with the desire to unite overseas Vietnamese from Kinh Bac, the Bac Ninh Fellow Countrymen Association in the Czech Republic actively supported and helped each other to integrate deeply into local society and organized many practical activities to connect overseas Vietnamese, and maintain and develop the Bac Ninh Quan Ho Club in the Czech Republic to further promote the traditional cultural beauty of the homeland.
After nearly 10 years of operation, the association has organized many meaningful and practical activities for the Vietnamese community in the Czech Republic such as calling for support for COVID-19 prevention and control in the Czech Republic and Vietnam; supporting people affected by cyclones in Morava; supporting people in the Central region affected by floods; and successfully organizing sports, cultural and art events, thereby improving the material and spiritual life of overseas Vietnamese.
Speaking at the ceremony, Vietnamese Ambassador to the Czech Republic Thai Xuan Dung acknowledged the contributions of the Bac Ninh community in the Czech Republic. He believes that they will inherit and promote good values and contribute to further enhancing the role and position of the overseas Vietnamese in the Czech Republic as well as preserving the special cultural identity of the Kinh Bac people.
On this occasion, the Vietnamese Embassy in the Czech Republic presented certificates of merit to two collectives and one individual with typical contributions in community activities and in activities towards the homeland./.
