Accordingly, the province targets to have eight provincial-level tourist destinations; a national tourist area in Nam Son - Bac Ninh city by 2030, especially the historical and cultural relic complex of Dam pagoda, Dam mountain, and Con Ten canal as well as develop new tourist areas, entertainment services, resorts and golf courses. In addition, it will also build seven golf courses in Thuan Thanh and Que Vo towns, Yen Phong, Tien Du and Gia Binh districts.
The province makes efforts to become a green, smart and modern city with a high development level, imbued with Bac Ninh - Kinh Bac cultural identity by 2050 to help people enjoy social services and quality of life on a par with developed countries in Asia.
According to Bac Ninh portal, the tourism development plan of the province is divided into two areas of northern and southern regions. The northern region of Duong River includes: Bac Ninh city, Tu Son city, Que Vo town, Yen Phong and Tien Du districts. Among them, the tourism - entertainment center is located in the Northeast of Tu Son city and the West of Tien Du district. Main types of services and tourism feature: conference - seminar - event tourism, entertainment services, cultural tourism, etc.

The southern region of Duong River including: Thuan Thanh town, Gia Binh and Luong Tai districts concentrates many craft villages, historical - cultural relics, favorable for the development of river tourism that conveniently connects to the tourist area in the North of Duong River and surrounding areas. Potential types of services and tourism in this area include: agricultural eco-tourism, resorts combined with sightseeing, river tourism, community tourism, golf courses. Among them, Ho urban areas in Thuan Thanh town plays the role of a gateway urban connection with Hanoi, and it is a tourist center in the southern region of Bac Ninh province. The province also preserves and promotes cultural values and traditional craft villages of Dong Ho paintings, as well as Duong River spatial area and Duong River corridor - an important ecological corridor, developing green tourism, agricultural eco-tourism, and river tourism.
Besides, according to the distribution of functional development areas according to routes along Road 295B, National Highway 1A, National Highway 18 and Provincial Road 283 through Bac Ninh city, Tu Son city and a part of Que Vo town, Thuan Thanh town, Tien Du district, Yen Phong district with many tourist destinations attraction such as: Quan Ho Diem Village - Bac Ninh Quan Ho world cultural heritage space; Lim hill with the National Quan Ho festival; Ba Chua Kho Temple, Bac Ninh Ancient Citadel, Ham Long Pagoda, Phat Tich Pagoda, But Thap Pagoda, Dau Pagoda, Phu Lang Pottery Village, and so on.
The routes along National Highway 18, Provincial Roads of 280, 282 and Binh Than Bridge have particularly outstanding tourism resources of Bac Ninh province and the Red River Delta region such as: the scenic relic complex of Thien Thai mountain, Binh Than wharf, Temple of Cao Lo Vuong, Temple of First Doctoral Candidate Le Van Thinh, typical Northern villages along the Duong River./.
