Bac Ninh province suggests extension of pilot operation of public administration centre model

The official dispatch issued by the provincial People’s Committee stated that the Public Administration Centre model was established according to the direction of the Party Central Committee and the Government, which was based on learning from effective models in other domestic localities and several countries, reported NDO.

According to the provincial People’s Committee, during more than six years of the pilot operation, the centre has successfully completed the task of promoting administrative reform and boosting the transparency of the relevant agencies in handling administrative procedures.

The model also contributes to increasing the work efficiency of civil servants and gradually changing the thinking of civil servants towards facilitating people and businesses, helping improve the locality ranking index.

The maintenance of the Public Administration Centre is also of importance because the province is gradually implementing comprehensive digital transformation, including the provision of online public administrative services.

A recent survey also shows a high level of satisfaction from local people and businesses using the model, according to the official dispatch.

Thus, the province proposed to the Government the maintenance of the model to ensure stability and consistency in the reform and handling of local administrative procedures./.
