Bac Ninh’s 6 athletes to compete at SEA Games 32

Bac Ninh will send 6 athletes to participate in SEA Games 32 in Cambodia, according to the Provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

SEA Games 32 will officially take place on May 5-17 in Cambodia. The Vietnamese sports delegation will attend the event with 1,003 members, including 702 athletes, 189 coaches, and 10 experts. Athletes will compete in 30 of 36 sports (447of 583 contents), striving to win from 89 to 120 gold medals, standing in the top of participating countries.
Six athletes from Bac Ninh include Nguyen Van Duong, Nguyen Manh Cuong (Boxing); Nguyen The Huong, Nguyen Dinh Thai (Kickboxing); Bui Ky Su (Weightlifting) and Nguyen Duy Tuyen (Pencat Silat). These are all the leading faces of Bac Ninh sports at the moment.
Previously, athletes Nguyen Van Duong, Nguyen Manh Cuong, Nguyen The Huong and Nguyen Duy Tuyen were chosen to join SEA Games 31. Apart from Nguyen Van Duong, who could not join the event due to COVID-19, all three athletes above won medals. In which, Nguyen Duy Tuyen and Nguyen The Huong won gold medals, and Nguyen Manh Cuong won a bronze medal./.
