During the meeting, Mr. Tuan emphasized that the pottery development project in Phu Lang commune not only plays an important role in promoting the people-to-people exchange between the two countries in general, and 2 localities in particular, but also a basic factor in the implementation of the strategy of industrialization and modernization of agriculture and rural areas.
He also said that at present, Phu Lang Pottery Village is one of three locations selected by the province as a pilot to develop rural craft village tourism. Therefore, in addition to the scope of the project, which is training to improve pottery production capacity for artisans, he expressed his wish that Japanese experts will be interested in sharing experiences and imparting more information about rural tourism development to achieve high efficiency.
He added he believed that in the coming time, with the active support of a delegation of Japanese experts, Bac Ninh's Phu Lang pottery village will develop further, contributing to promoting production, creating jobs and improve people's living standards.
Mr. Hideki Sanada said, right after implementing the project, the delegation sent many experts to train the artisans of Phu Lang pottery village and achieved certain results.
