Bac Ninh strives to implement solutions for business environment improvement

The Bac Ninh Department of Planning and Investment on August 12 held a conference to propose directions and solutions to improve its Market Entry Index in 2021 and the following years.

At the conference, representatives of departments and sectors focused on analyzing the component indexes of the Market Entry Index and proposed solutions according to the functions and tasks of each industry.

The delegates emphasized that it is necessary to create favorable conditions for businesses, cut costs and time to complete administrative procedures to enter the market.

Mr. Nguyen Dinh Xuan, Director of the provincial Department of Planning and Investment, said that Bac Ninh ranked 10th out of 63 provinces and cities in the country in the PCI ranking in 2020. In which, the Market Entry Index under the charge of the Department of Planning and Investment is one of the four major component indexes enjoying an increase compared to 2019, reaching 7.04 points (up 0.16 points).

In order to improve the business environment and improve the market entry index, the Department of Planning and Investment proposed that other departments, branches and units continue to create favorable conditions for businesses to cut costs and time to complete administrative procedures to enter the market./.
