(CPV) – The Bac Ninh provincial Bank for Social Policies on July 27 signed a contract of credit and loans disbursement to pay salaries for work stoppage and production resumption.
The move is carried out in accordance with Resolution 68/ NQ-CP dated July 1, 2021 of the Government and Decision 23/2021/QD-TTg dated July 7, 2021 of the Government leader on the implementation of a number of policies to support employees and employers facing difficulties due to the COVID-19 epidemic.

Accordingly, the contract was signed between the provincial Bank for Social Policies and Dap Cau Garment Joint Stock Company and Viet Pacific Clothing Co., Ltd.
These are the first two enterprises in Bac Ninh province and also the first two in the country receiving policy credit loans to pay salaries to workers who have stopped working and to resume production and business.
The two enterprises are permitted to borrow VND 16.135 billion to pay salaries to 4,116 employees with an interest rate of 0% a year and a loan period of less than 12 months. Specifically, Viet Pacific Clothing Co., Ltd. has received a loan of more than 9 billion VND to pay salary to more than 2,300 employees in July 2021 and the rest was granted to Dap Cau Garment Joint Stock Company to pay salaries to 1,800 employees.
So far, Bac Ninh has had 13 business owners and employers have worked with the provincial Bank for Social Policies to borrow over 63 billion VND to pay worker salaries. Of these, 5 employers have fully submitted loan applications and 2 enterprises have been approved for loans by the bank.
In his speech at the event, Standing Deputy Chairman of the Bac Ninh People’s Committee Vuong Quoc Tuan recognized and hailed functional branches and the bank for well realizing the policies of the State and promptly supporting enterprises and employers to overcome difficulties caused by the COVID-19 epidemic.
He asked the enterprises to use the capital for the right purposes, promptly pay salaries to employees, resume production and business, and avoid disruption./.
