According the issued resolution, Thuan Thanh town will be established on the basis of the entire 117.83 km2 of natural area and population size of 199,577 people of Thuan Thanh district in Bac Ninh.
Thuan Thanh town borders Que Vo town, Gia Binh, Luong Tai and Tien Du districts of Bac Ninh; Hai Duong and Hung Yen provinces, and Hanoi city.
After this Resolution takes effect, Bac Ninh will have 8 district-level administrative units, including 4 districts, 2 towns and 2 cities; 126 commune-level administrative units, including 70 communes, 52 wards and 4 townships.
Along with that, this town will have 10 wards established, including: Ho, An Binh, Song Ho, Gia Dong, Thanh Khuong, Ha Man, Tram Lo, Tri Qua, Xuan Lam, and Ninh Xa.
After the establishment of Thuan Thanh town and the wards mentioned above, Thuan Thanh town has 18 commune-level administrative units.
The Resolution also decided to establish Que Vo town on the basis of the entire 155.11 km2 of natural area and population size of 219,929 people of Que Vo district in Bac Ninh.
Que Vo town borders Bac Ninh city, Thuan Thanh town, Gia Binh district, and Tien Du district of Bac Ninh; Bac Giang and Hai Duong provinces.
At the same time, 11 wards will be established in Que Vo town, including: Pho Moi, Viet Hung, Bang An, Phuong Mao, Phuong Lieu, Dai Xuan, Nhan Hoa, Que Tan, Phu Luong, Bong Lai and Cach Bi.
After the establishment of Que Vo town and the wards mentioned above, Que Vo town has 21 commune-level administrative units.
The resolution also decided to establish the People’s Court of Thuan Thanh town on the basis of inheriting the People’s Court of Thuan Thanh district; and the People’s Procuracy of Thuan Thanh town on the basis of inheriting the People’s Procuracy of Thuan Thanh district.
At the same time, the People’s Court of Que Vo town was established on the basis of inheriting the People’s Court of Que Vo district; and the People’s Procuracy of Que Vo town on the basis of inheriting the People’s Procuracy of Que Vo district.
This Resolution will take effect from April 10, 2023./.
