The program, under the chairmanship of Vietnamese Foreign Minister Bui Thanh Son, had three outstanding events: the celebration marking the 50th anniversary of Vietnam – Austria diplomatic relations, the Vietnamese Cultural Space, and the Vietnam-Austria Business Forum.

At the celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Vietnam – Austria diplomatic relations, the symphony orchestra of the Vietnam National Academy of Music together with Austrian artists performed some typical musical works of the two countries.

The Vietnam - Austria Business Forum was an opportunity to learn about and promote economic and trade cooperation between the two countries.

The Vietnamese Cultural Space introduced some unique art forms of Vietnam along with cultural activities such as Vietnamese tea art, lacquer painting performance, and ethnic musical instrument performance.

Bac Ninh province participated in introducing and performing the art of Dong Ho folk painting, which is produced by traditional manual methods using materials available in nature. Dong Ho folk paintings fully converge historical, cultural, literary and artistic values, deeply reflecting the beliefs and daily life of Vietnamese people.

The Vietnam Day 2022 in Austria was co-organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Vietnamese Embassy in Austria and its partners. The event will give the Austrian public an overview of the 50-year friendship and cooperation between the two countries./.
