Korean company intends to start project in Bac Ninh

Sincerely thanking the leaders of Bac Ninh province for the warm welcome, Mr. Ahn Sung Hun said Green Package Solution Company is a Korean enterprise specializing in manufacturing all kinds of environmentally friendly packaging products, supplying electronics, cosmetics and food industries. Currently, the company has a factory in Gumi (the RoK). In the strategy of development and expansion of scale, the company plans to invest in building a second production factory in Bac Ninh province with a total initial investment of about USD30 million. Products manufactured in Bac Ninh will be exported to countries such as the RoK, Japan and European countries.

Appreciating the investment environment of Bac Ninh, Mr. Ahn Sung Hun wishes that provincial leaders and relevant authorities will create favorable conditions for businesses to soon deploy projects in Bac Ninh in the near future.

Welcoming the company to choose Bac Ninh to invest in building the factory, Chairwoman of the Bac Ninh Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Huong Giang briefly introduced some outstanding achievements in the province's socio-economic development over the past time, with many leading indicators nationwide, including export ranking 2nd in the country, only after Ho Chi Minh City; FDI attraction ranking third; and especially, the Green Index ranking third right from the first year of ranking.

She also emphasized that among 39 countries and territories investing in Bac Ninh, the RoK is the leading country in terms of both scale and investment capital with about 589 projects and total investment capital of about USD13.68 billion, accounting for 65% of total foreign investment capital in industrial parks in the province. Korean projects mainly focus on fields such as mechanical engineering, electronic component production and telephone.

Appreciating the production of Green Package Solution Company in line with the goals and strategies of investment attraction of Bac Ninh province, she committed to creating maximum support and best conditions for the company to promote project implementation as quickly as possible. She also assigned departments, branches and authorised agencies to closely coordinate and promptly remove all difficulties and problems of the company in the process of investment research in the province./.
