Bac Ninh is one of the localities hosting the sports events of SEA Games 31. As a result, it is rushing to complete the medical work to prepare for the regional sports festival.

It is expected that the health sector will carry out more than 3,000 test samples for leading officials and athletes participating in SEA Games 31. The Provincial Department of Health has guided 21 water supply facilities and 6 venues for competition and accommodation on ensuring water quality for the event. Environmental sanitation and disinfection at competition and accommodation venues are carried out strictly according to the guidance of the Ministry of Health.
Doctor Nguyen Ba Quy, Deputy Director of the Provincial Department of Health, said that the health sector has developed a plan to assign specific tasks to serve SEA Games 31 for the Provincial General Hospital, the Provincial Center for Disease Control and Prevention, and the Tu Son City Health Center.
The health sector has set up 10 teams to supervise pandemic prevention and environmental sanitation at hotels, competition venues and the community.
Bac Ninh will host 4 sports competitions in SEA Games 31, including boxing, kick boxing, tennis and handball.
Thirty five health workers have been mobilized to be on emergency duty, ensuring complete medical safety.
Medicines, and medical equipment and supplies are prepared to be ready to receive emergency cases for treatment./.
