Trade surplus of Bac Ninh province achieves 3.4 billion USD in 8 months

The General Department of Customs said that the total import and export turnover of goods in Bac Ninh province reached 56.9 billion USD during the January – August period of 2022, up 13.1% over the same period last year.

In which, the export turnover of goods was estimated at 30.1 billion USD in the first 8 months, up 11.7% over the same period last year, continuing to maintain the 2nd position in the country.
The import turnover in 8 months was estimated at 26.7 billion USD, up 14.7% over the same period last year. Imports in the January – August period of 2022 increased quite significantly, reflecting the increase in the demand for raw materials to prepare for production activities.
In the eight months of the year, the trade surplus was estimated to reach 3.4 billion USD, about 11.4% of export turnover./.
