A seminar on cinema with Quang Ninh province and promoting tourism through cinema was held in Quang Ninh province on October 15 under the framework of the 18^th Vietnam film festival.

Together with the seminar, there was also a workshop on cooperation in film production and distribution, and cinematography’s role in promoting tourism, and two exchanges between artists and mine workers, and between artists and soldiers in Quang Ninh province.

There are international gateways, Ha Long bay and historical sites and beautiful natural landscapes in Quang Ninh province. Therefore, it has provided the setting for many films and documentaries, both domestic and foreign.

The images of Ha Long bay in the French film Indochina became a charming example of tourism promotion through cinema.

Earlier, leaders of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and artists offered incense at the Ha Long city Martyrs Monument. They also attended the opening of the “Cinematography with Quang Ninh” exhibition./.
