Orientations for village regulations in Quang Ninh province

On October 24, vice chairwoman of Quang Ninh provincial People’s Committee Vu Thi Thu Thuy presided over a meeting on orientations for village regulations in the province.

At the meeting, a representative from Quang Ninh provincial Department of Justice presented draft orientations for village regulations in the province. Village regulations are social legal documents regulating common behaviour rules for community residents to preserve and promote fine cultural traditions and customs of locality. Each village or quarter makes only a regulation, with a focus on proposing measures for socio-economic, cultural and medical development. As a result, customs will be preserved and promoted, and cultural lifestyle implemented in families.

After listening to ideas contributed by representatives to the draft report, Ms. Thuy asked the provincial Department of Justice to acquire ideas to complete the draft resolution in the near future. She asked that the orientations for content of village regulations be easy to remember and to support compliance with the law in people’s lives./.
