The Bach Dang Spring Flower Street, invested by the Da Nang Municipal People’s Committee, will take place from 27 January to 6 February.
This year’s flower street is intended to replicate the Nguyen Hue Flower Street in Ho Chi Minh City at Tet, because it is being implemented by the Saigontourist Company, the designer of the Nguyen Hue Flower Street.
Da Nang Spring Flower Street 2014 is designed in four clusters along the western bank of Han River, along Bach Dang Street. Accordingly, four accents of the flower street include the landscape of Dragon Bridge west bank, landscape from Tran Quoc Toan street to Pham Phu Thu street, landscape in front of Danang Committee’s headquarters, landscape in front of Danang People's Committee’s headquarters and landscape of Quang Trung - Bach Dang - Tran Phu street.
The one-kilometer road from Bach Dang Street in the Bach Dang-Phan Dinh Phung T-junction to Bach Dang-Le Van Duyet T-junction will be decorated with artworks made of flowers.
Additionally, an LED lighting system will be installed from the front of the municipal People's Committee headquarters to the new Administration Centre. Another system, which will depict six pairs of horses, will be installed at six welcome gates along Nguyen Van Linh Street. Some other main streets will also sport decorative lighting.
The total cost for the Bach Dang Spring Flower Street is over VND5 billion in which the majority is contributed by the Sun Group and Trung Nam Group./.
