Vietnam Airlines offers free transportation gifts for Hanoi Heart Hospital

(CPV) - Using the delivery flight of Vietnam Airlines’ fourth A350 XWB, the Airbus Foundation and the Vietnam national flag carrier Vietnam Airlines carried toys, sets of playing and books to patients at the Hanoi Heart Hospital.

The gifts were donated by Aviation Sans Frontières organization in France and other sponsors via the “For the children” campaign initiated by the Airbus Foundation.

“Whenever possible, we try to use delivery flights of new aircraft to our customers to ship medical or humanitarian donations to countries or cities in need, through our Foundation”, said Mr Fabrice Brégier, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Airbus and member of the Foundation’s Board of Directors.

 

While Dr Pham Ngoc Minh, President and CEO of Vietnam Airlines said, as the flag carrier of Vietnam, we are not only focusing on the implementation of renewing the fleet and upgrading service quality to satisfy customers’ needs, but also contributing more to our community.

 

This fourth Airbus A350 XWB of Vietnam Airlines (registered VN-A889 which took off at Toulouse on December 2nd and landed at Noi Bai International Airport at 08h48 on December 3rd), has completed a meaningful task of bringing happiness for patients and protecting the health of Vietnamese people./.
