The organizing board of the Vietnam Heritage Photo Contest 2017 has held a ceremony in Ho Chi Minh city to review the contest.
The event is among activities to celebrate Vietnam Cultural Heritage Day, which falls on November 23rd.
As many of 3,479 works were sent to the organizing board, reflecting the diversity of Vietnamese cultural heritage and people’s lives, and photographers’ love for the homeland.
The organizing board voted for the 16 best photos.
The three top prizes went to "Ke chuyen Ghe Ngo tram tuoi” (Telling the story of the one hundred year old Ghe Ngo - Khmer Boat) by Dinh Cong Tam, "Ve dich” (Heading to the finish line) by Ngo Minh Phuong, and “Xom chai Dam Chuon” (Dam Chuon fishing village) by Ha Van Dong. In addition, three second, three third and seven consolation prizes were also presented to both professional and amateur winners.
