More than 200 photos on the beauty of Hanoi’s land and its people are on display at an exhibition which opened on July 12th.

The event entitled “For an elegant and civilized Hanoi" is held as part of activity to mark the 20th anniversary of Hanoi capital’s recognition as the city for peace (July 16th) by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO).
Photos reflect Uncle Ho’s thoughts, morality, lifestyle, sentiment and interest in the people of the capital; and the beauty of thousands of years of civilization of Hanoi people, especially the elegant and civilized features that form a very unique and very proud "Thang Long culture" of the capital. .
The beauty of the land and the people introduced in the exhibition
Exhibits are displayed according to three main contents, including "Hanoi thousand years of culture", "President Ho Chi Minh with Hanoi culture" and "Hanoians study and follow Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle”, the exhibition aims to send the public a message about a Hanoi with the value of elegance, sophistication, perfection and kindness, and at the same time remind local to be responsible for preserving and promoting the traditional beauty.
The exhibition will run at the Information Exhibition Hall, 45 Trang Tien street, Hoan Kiem until August 12th./.
