Some 200 objects and 76 photos on the Cham ethnic minority group in Ninh Thuan are on display at an exhibition in the Central Highlands province of Dak Lak.

The exhibition is being held by Dak Lak provincial Museum and Ninh Thuan provincial Museum to serve local people and tourists.
Accordingly, the exhibits reflect the Cham ethnic group in the central province of Ninh Thuan; their living equipment, production labor and hunting; their traditional costume; their traditional musical instruments; Cham Bau Truc traditional pottery; My Nghiep brocade weaving; and Cham ethnic scripts and architecture.
There are more than 82,000 Cham ethnic people in Ninh Thuan province, accounting for 50% of the Cham population of the country. They have preserved and promoted a very unique cultural treasure, contributing to the diversity and unity of Vietnamese culture.
The exhibition contributes to enriching and diversifying the great culture of Vietnamese ethnic groups, educating the younger generation to conserve and promote Cham cultural values and strengthening community solidarity.
Besides, it is also an opportunity to promote the unique cultural characteristics of each ethnic group to a large number of tourists.
The event will run until December 12th./.
