Festival to mark Vietnam Family Day to take place in Hai Phong from June 25 to 29

The event entitled "Happy Family - Prosperous Nation" aims to honour  the traditional cultural values of Vietnamese families. It will also contribute to raising community awareness about the role and position families play in building and protecting the homeland.

This is also an opportunity for localities to exchange and share experiences in family work, aiming for the sustainable development of the family in the period of industrialisation, modernisation and international integration.

Diverse activities such as an exhibition on doucments, images and artefacts about the care, building and development of the Vietnamese family by the entire society, and an exhibition theme "Women of Families on the Border and Islands Areas", will be held on this occasion.

In addition, there will be many unique cultural and artistic exchange programmes such as meeting with idols with the theme "Sports in the Vietnamese Family", "Family Fun" art festival, and traditional folk art exchange./.
