Hanoi autumn festival to take place around Hoan Kiem lake in September

The second Hanoi autumn festival will take place around Hoan Kiem lake from September 12 to 15 to promote both the capital’s autumn destinations and tourism products. It will be also aims to mark 70th anniversary of the Capital Liberation Day on October 10.

The festival will open with a music gala held at the flower garden area of Ba Kieu Temple on September 13.
At the festival, there will be a re-enactment of 150 stalls which will showcase an array of products from trade villages, special dishes, and gifts during the fall season. They will be organised on the iconic old streets situated around Hoan Kiem Lake, including Dinh Tien Hoang and Le Thach streets, as well as the Octagonal House area.
The highlight of the festival will be a re-enactment of local people waving flags and flowers to welcome the victorious army on Capital Liberation Day on October 10, 1954.
Diverse activities such as painting activities, exhibition on children’s artwork, space introducing Hanoi’s flowers throughout the year, will be held.
In addition, plenty of Hanoi’s delicacies will be introduced to locals and visitors at the festival./.
