Nearly 1,000 artists and actors participate in National Drama Festival 2024

On June 11, the opening ceremony of the festival took place at the Viet Bac Folk Music and Dance Theatre, in Thai Nguyen Province.

The event was held by the Department of Performing Arts in collaboration with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Thai Nguyen Province, and the Vietnam Theatre Artists’ Association.

The festival aims to preserve and promote traditional cultural values and honour collectives and individuals with achievements in their profession.

The event is also an opportunity for artists to exchange, learn experiences, improve professional qualifications and enhance performance quality to serve the people, Dong noted.

The festival will last until June 26./.
