Vietnam Cultural Week in Laos 2024

According to the VNA correspondent in Laos, the event is entitled "Colors of Vietnamese culture, Vietnam - Laos friendship"

Speaking at the event, Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Hoang Dao Cuong said that the Vietnam Cultural Week in Laos in 2024 is not only a regular, symbolic activity, but also demonstrates Vietnam's strong commitment to this special friendship.

Deputy Minister Hoang Dao Cuong hopes that through the traditional singing, dancing and music program performed by Vietnamese artists, Vietnamese and Lao audiences and international friends will have the opportunity to better understand Vietnamese culture; At the same time, it is also an opportunity for Vietnam and Laos to review the tradition of friendship between the two Parties, the two States and the two peoples, and look forward to a future of increasingly strong and effective cooperation.

On the Lao side, Deputy Minister of Information, Culture and Tourism Vansy KouaMoua emphasized that this activity not only demonstrates the tradition of close friendship between the two countries, but also organizes and implements the plan for cultural, artistic and tourism cooperation between Laos and Vietnam for the period 2021 - 2025.

At this Vietnam Cultural Week, the Vietnamese Art Troupe and students of Nguyen Du Lao      Vietnamese Bilingual School performed unique art performances imbued with cultural identity, praising President Ho Chi Minh and the great friendship between Vietnam and Laos, praising the love of the country and people.

With traditional Vietnamese musical instruments such as flute, monochor   and dan tinh, the artists took the audience through many emotional experiences to explore every region and beautiful, majestic landscape of Vietnam./.
