Vietnam-Laos special friendship festival 2023 to take place in central Hue city

The Vietnam-Laos special friendship festival 2023 will take place Hue city, the central province of Thua Thien – Hue from December 11 to 15 to celebrate 61 years of diplomatic ties and 46 years since the signing of the Treaty of Amity and Cooperation between the two nations.

The event aims at promoting the image of Vietnamese innovation and development and highlighting the Vietnam – Laos traditional friendship, special solidarity, and comprehensive co-operation.
The festival is expected to further contribute to deepening the traditional friendship, special solidarity and comprehensive ties between the two countries.
Diverse activities such as a photo exhibition, a trade fair, a science seminar, and an art performance exchange, will be held during the festival.
These activities will serve to highlight the history and development of the special friendship, as well as the outstanding achievements in information and communication co-operation between the two countries./.
